Get to know me…

My journey into visual art began in childhood with drawing and painting. Creating always brought me peace and helped me express the way I see the world. Over time, my love for nature and art became one - and I started to feel the urge to preserve the quiet beauty I experienced outdoors: the sound of water, the colors of a sunset, the stillness of a forest path.

Painting wasn’t enough anymore. I wanted something more immediate, something that could truly capture the moment as it was. That’s when photography found me. In 2005, I picked up a camera for the first time and began exploring the world through a new lens.

My first introduction to photography theory was in the library of my hometown, where I discovered an old book - Photography by Milan Fizi, written in the 1970s. Though it focused on analog photography, the timeless principles it taught - aperture, shutter speed, exposure, composition - are still the foundation of my work today. I searched every antique shop to find a copy of that book, and it remains one of my most valued possessions.

Since then, I’ve continued learning through experience, online resources, and constant exploration. Photography is an ever-evolving art form, and I believe in growing with it - always curious, always learning.

The type of photography I connect with most deeply is portrait photography - especially capturing children and weddings.

Children are wonderfully honest and unfiltered in their emotions, and I always try to photograph them in natural settings like parks or playgrounds, where they can simply be themselves. Whether it’s joy, curiosity, or a quiet moment, children never pretend—and that authenticity is what I love most.

Weddings, on the other hand, offer a completely different yet equally emotional experience. I feel honored to witness and capture such a meaningful day in people’s lives—the quiet glances, spontaneous laughter, and emotional moments that make each celebration unique. My goal is always to document these moments in a natural, timeless way, so couples can relive them for years to come.

Nature and street photography are also vital parts of my work and creative inspiration. Being outdoors has always brought me peace and sparked my creativity—I’m drawn to the stillness of landscapes, the shifting light, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. Whether it’s a misty forest, a glowing sunset, or the texture of a mountain path, nature allows me to express emotions without words and connect deeply with its beauty.

Another genre I’m passionate about is street photography, especially when I travel. It allows me to bring together two of my greatest loves: discovering new places and capturing authentic, unscripted moments. I love wandering through unfamiliar streets, exploring corners that aren't on the map, and finding beauty in the everyday. In those spontaneous moments - when people don’t know they’re being photographed - I often find the most genuine energy. Street life photography lets me document not just architecture or landmarks, but the soul of a place. That’s what fulfills me - sharing those moments so others can feel the life, spirit, and emotion behind each image.

Through my work, I try to share not just images, but emotions - peace, wonder, stillness, presence.

I want my photos to invite you into the same quiet moments that first inspired me to pick up a camera.
